Tri County Housing (Tri County Housing Development Corporation, Inc.) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to neighborhood revitalization by acquiring and developing affordable housing for low- and moderate-income individuals and families across Cumberland, Dauphin, and Perry Counties, as well as the surrounding region.
Tri County Housing collaborates with public and private partners to construct new and renovate existing multifamily and single-family homes and housing developments featuring cutting-edge amenities. Our goal is to ensure residents have a comfortable living space, children maintain stable school attendance, and communities can thrive. We firmly believe in everyone's right to homeownership and strive to provide opportunities for our community members to achieve this dream.

BUILDING HOMESWhat We Do
Tri County Housing champions the development of affordable housing for low- and moderate-income individuals and families. Our projects aim to forge alliances, revitalize communities, and support homeowners and residents. Our activities cater specifically to the area's demand for affordable housing.
In 2022, Tri County Housing broadened its offerings by becoming a HUD Certified Housing Counseling Program, providing an extensive range of housing counseling services for first-time homebuyers, homeowners, and low- to moderate-income individuals and families. The program's main goals include enhancing financial literacy, expanding homeownership opportunities, improving access to affordable housing, and preserving homeownership.
Since its founding in 1990, Tri County Housing has developed or rehabilitated over 800 affordable housing units—encompassing rental properties and homes for sale. The organization operates with the assistance of eighteen (18) active volunteer board members, eight (8) advisory board members, as well as two full-time employees and one part-time employee.
