HARRISBURG (April 27, 2026) The nonprofit Tri-County Housing earned a 2026 Pyramid Award Thursday night from the Home Builders Association of Metropolitan Harrisburg, for its newly constructed Normandy Lofts community in Shippensburg, PA
The award-winning project, located at 23 Airport Road and completed in June 2025 with partner Woda Cooper, earned the Association’s prestigious “Community Impact Award.” It involved the new construction of 48 walk-up units in one three-story building.
Gary Lenker, executive director of Tri-County Housing, said, “The Normandy Lofts community has brought convenient, high-quality affordable family housing to Southampton Township, the Shippensburg area, and Cumberland County. Seeing this project come to life and honored in front of our peers is another high point in the story of this vision realized.”
Over the past 36 years, Tri-County Housing has earned many Pyramid Awards.
“A Pyramid Award means a great deal to me, because it is a reminder of how fortunate I am to work with aspiring homeowners and valued community partners to help those in need achieve their dreams,” Lenker added.
