Tri-County Housing Earns Pyramid Award for Renovation of 215 Eutaw Avenue in New Cumberland

HARRISBURG (May 7, 2025) The nonprofit Tri-County Housing earned a 2025 Pyramid Award for “Best Residential Renovation between $150,001 – $300,000” recently from the Home Builders Association of Metropolitan Harrisburg.

Supported by funding from the Cumberland County Commissioners, the award-winning project helped to revitalize a semi-detached home that had fallen into disrepair in New Cumberland Borough. The renovated unit has three stories, a full basement, four spacious bedrooms, one and one-half baths, modern appliances and amenities, spanning 1,739 square feet of living space.

Gary Lenker, Executive Director of Tri-County Housing, said, “Earning another Pyramid Award is a great honor, but the real reward is seeing a family in need get the keys to a new home and begin a new life. Housing is the foundation for the future, and I feel fortunate to work with valued community partners to help those in need achieve their dreams.”

Major supporters at the ribbon-cutting for the project last October included Rep. Sheryl Delozier, New Cumberland Mayor Joan Erney, and Cumberland County Commissioner Gary Eichelberger.
